A Merry Christmas and best of the season to all our wonderful listeners of the DWO WhoCast.

We hope you enjoy this bit of Christmas fun as Seb and Paul return to join Trevor in a bit of cracker pulling and present giving.

The boys have a bit of a natter about the upcoming Christmas special, The Next Doctor. What's it about? Who is in it? And just how awesome will it be?

Trevor had a great talk with author Nick Griffiths, writer of books such as Dalek I Loved You, and his new book, Who Goes There. Join Trevor as he chats with Nick about his books, his love of Doctor Who and just why he thought travelling around the UK at old Doctor Who locations was a great way to have an excuse for a family road trip.

And find out the details on just who will be joining Trevor as co-host of the WhoCast in 2009.

For she reigns o'er the living and dwells with the dead,
O'er shoreline and beach, o'er heathland and marsh,
She sees all that men do, and her judgement be harsh.

A melting minister… a scientific project gripped by madness… a remote village on the Kent coast where the locals have some strange habits indeed. It's all just the ticket for top-secret government department, MI-13.

Lionheart (Nicholas Courtney) and Dunning (Terry Molloy) are back, to do battle with the Women's Institute, an old adversary and an inter-dimensional being from the dawn of time - THE DEVIL OF DENGE MARSH.

We speak about Nocturne and some of the great stuff that is coming from Big Finish in the coming months.

On the human colony planet Nocturne, there is suffering and blight, tragic symptoms of an ages-old war. Never the less, Nocturne is also one of the Doctor's favourite places in all of time and space, because it is here that a late, great flowering of human art - the High Renaissance - is taking place.

He has been back here, many times. It is a place of music and art which he finds inspirational and uplifting. It is a place he wants to share with Ace and Hex. It's always been a safe haven for him, a world of friends and laughter.

But with strict Martial Law imposed on the front-line city, and the brutal scourge of interstellar warfare vicing the system, how safe can anyone really be?

There is a note of death in the wild, midnight wind...

This story takes place after "Survival".
